Ways to Give

  • You can send an e-transfer through your banking institution to office@broadwaychurchlife.com

    Please include ‘VBC Sponsorship’ in the memo section.

    Donations via E-transfers do not create any cost for Broadway Church in processing fees.

  • You can make a donation online through our third-party service using one of the buttons below.

    Donations made online via credit or debit card cost Broadway Church a small processing fee, though we value it as a highly convenient way to give.

  • You can make a donation in-person at our Broadway Church office or in our church foyer on Sundays via debit or credit.

    Donations made in-person via credit or debit card cost Broadway Church a very small processing fee.

Questions?

  • Official tax receipts will be issued for eligible donations in accordance with CRA requirements.

    To qualify for an official tax receipt, donors must be at arm's length from any named participant (i.e., not an immediate family member or related party) and must not receive any goods, services, or benefits in exchange for their donation.

    The qualifying aspect for a tax receipt as that donation sponsorships cannot be designated for a specific camper. All qualifying sponsorship donations must be left to Broadway Church to assign, which we do based on need.

  • All donations are made to Broadway Church for use in its charitable programs. While donors may indicate a preference for how a gift is applied, Broadway Church retains full discretion and decision-making authority over the use of all donated funds, in accordance with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) guidelines.

    Spending of funds is confined to programs and initiatives approved by the Lead Team. Gifts with designations for a specific approved program or project will be used as designated with the understanding that when the financial needs of a program or project have been met or cannot be completed for any reason as determined by the Lead Team, the remaining designated funds will be used where most needed.
