Lead Team Nominations
Broadway is led by a group of volunteers called the Lead Team. The purpose of the Lead Team is to provide spiritual oversight, corporate leadership and protection. They set the big picture vision and assist Ministry Teams in carrying out that vision. Lead Team members are expected to be strongly committed to Christ and to Broadway Church and its ministries. Their authority is given through members’ affirmation of individuals discerned by the church family and meeting Broadway’s leadership criteria.
The Bible speaks of the qualifications for church leadership. The following passages give guidelines intended to be benchmarks for everyone ministering at Broadway. 1 Tim 3:1-13; Titus 1:5-9; 1 Peter 4:7-11; 1 Peter 5:1-4; Acts 6:3; 2 Cor. 9:6-7. In addition, our policy states that only men and women who are members of Broadway Church can be discerned for Lead Team positions. If you consider Broadway your home church, you are eligible to submit nominations regardless of whether or not you are currently a member of Broadway Church. Nominations are prayerfully discerned by nominees, our nominations committee, and our entire body of church members.
